Concrete kerb labourer / truck driver / workshop mechanic

Looking for someone with experience in fitting/welding/mechanical work that is looking for a career change in construction!

The job would would usually entail going to our Islington depot in the morning, and driving the truck to the job site.

Once on site, the job involves general kerb labouring, such as feeding concrete into the kerb machine, and helping the kerb finishers during the day.

At the end of works on site, you would then drive the truck back to the depot and load up for the next day using the truck mounted Palfinger crane.

Your background in fitting/machining/welding would be for on site repairs to the kerb machine if it breaks down, and making new kerb moulds in the workshop occasionally.

You are not expected to be experienced in concrete work, but you must enjoy hard work outdoors and be keen to learn on the job. You must be easy to get along with and be able to work in a team under a foreman.

Good pay and variety of work await the right person.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
