The role of Plant Maintenance Coordinator has arisen in order to help the company achieve quality control through a planned period of growth. Reporting to the Projects and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment are maintained at their optimum operating capacity.
Duties include:
Applying quality control techniques and set up production lines
Training on production machinery
Learning operational aspects of new machinery and ensuring equipment knowledge is maintained and shared.
Maintenance tasks and repairs
Creating and losing work orders and keeping data current
Ordering parts and consumables
Complying with all site requirements
You must have:
At least 5 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the agricultural, food or pharmaceutical industry
Trade Qualifications in mechanical
Working knowledge on pumps, gear boxes, filling and labelling equipment
Able to interpret schematic diagrams
Forklift licence
Prior GMP facility experience
Strong attention to detail
Competent computer skills
Good writing and mathematical competency
