We are experiencing an increase in demand for workshop Boilermakers to perform maintenance work on mining equipment. We have various positions available in areas from Lake Macquarie to the Hunter Valley; with immediate opportunities to start next week.

It is essential that you have experience in the fabrication and welding of Medium to Heavy Equipment; predominantly mining based. You must be Trade Qualified with experience in MIG and flux core welding, reading drawings, and marking out.

Mine Site Inductions (SGS/Xstrata/Pegasus) and Tickets including Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, MDG25 and EWP will also be viewed favourably as there is also various site work available. Candidates must also be able to pass a pre-employment drug alcohol test.

Competitive hourly rates, regular overtime for some positions (up to 60 hours per week) and shift work is available. Workshop work may be ongoing and top performers will be offered permanency after their trial period.
